Rap is too far gone to redeem itself

Wow! How can Rap continue to get worse? Lil' Wayne continues to reign and the same 10 producers are in heavy rotation among these fake emcees. This mess is redefining what a "groupie" is.

I guess the game is imitating the business world now. Only a few corporations own everything we consume so it's no big surprise that the rap world reflects this.

Right now, if rap was meat I'd go vegan.

it's very ironic that rap wasn't main stream until it was co-opted by the business world, showing up in everything from fashion to advertising. now hip-hop's flipped its wig and emulated much of the structure it used to stand against, even when that structure got on rap's bozak, subversively turning it to pop.

so i agree, shit's weak. i find myself sustaining on 70's funk, chopin and anything outkast until the next el-p album drops.

stop cryin...

All I have to say is... "Do da stanky leg, do da stanky leg". (YouTube it! The world is about to end)
